The following is a current list of all projects included in the Bow River Irrigation District approved under this program. Funding for I.R.P. Projects is 75% Government of Alberta grant with the District covering the remaining 25%

BK-2-2 Pipeline (Vauxhall Block)

 
Description

This pipeline is a pump pressurized pipeline from the NE corner of Lost Lake. It is part of the overall B/K system rehabilitation/modernization plan.

 
Schedule

Construction for this project began in winter 2023/2024 and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2025. It will begin operation for the 2025 water season.

 
Cost Estimate

Estimated Cost: $1,750,000.

BK-2 Pipeline - Phase One

 
Description

This project is for the bottom end of the BK-2 Pipeline. It is also part of the overall B/K system rehabilitation/modernization plan.

 
Schedule

Construction for this project began in the winter 2024/2025 and is planned for completion in the spring of 2025. The BK-2 pipeline is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2026 and begin operation for the 2026 water season.
